The word Unit makes up all 10 pictures I photographed in this series. Some pictures are directly of the person or animal and others are objects that remind me of that person who means a lot to me. This word describes these pictures because everyone and everything that reminds me of these people are my unit that makes me, myself. They are unified because they are pictures of the closest people to me and something that makes them, themselves. All the pictures are different from others which set them aside from others. There are two in which are of the person or animal themselves, then the other 8 are of something that reminds me of the person. All these pictures are significant to me because these people are apart of my everyday life and I can't imagine life without them. My favorite picture in this "unit" (get it) is the picture of my best friend Brianna in the second row, second picture. I love how the light comes down on here and the shadows are cascaded across her face. She's my best friend and has been for three years now even though she isn't family like all the rest she still makes me, myself. I believe my second strongest photo is the picture of my dog Sam, I like how it is a little washed out on the back side of him and you can see all the texture of his hair and it feels like he's right there with you. Also he's cute so thats a plus. Finally one of my favorite pictures that I took is the picture of the snow globes I feel like it is so clean and neat and you can clearly see every little thing on the shelves.
